UPDATE FROM THE CREW AT AUSSIE DESTINATIONS UNKNOWN
We are so excited that this time next week we will be out at Bigriggen! It has come so quickly, and we honestly can’t wait.
We have so many fun activities lined up – and so many amazing prizes to give away. Did you know that you could win an Engel fridge just by having purchased your ticket! All you have to do is be there when the prize is drawn Saturday evening. Woohoo!
Other raffle prizes will be drawn all throughout the Saturday and … we have an entire wheelbarrow full of alcohol to be auctioned off! Yep – it’s pretty cool. We’ve had some wonderful sponsors come on board and we are so thankful for the prizes we have for you
We also wanted to share the following information so that you can be prepared and make the most of everything that will be on offer.
1. Plan your outfit for the Farmer Fun Run.
a. Dress up and run a lap of Bigriggen.
b. First prize is AMAZEBALLS! (and well worth the effort of running in those boots!)
2. Plan your outfit for the Farmer Fashion Parade.
a. This will be held straight after the Fun Run, so those entered in the race can just waltz in front of the judges as they are (I will make sure you are at the back of the line, so you can catch your breath first. Lol)
b. This prize is also AMAZEBALLS!
3. If you have kids, tell them to get prepared for the Kids Talent Show on Saturday afternoon.
4. Bring your dancing clothes (or exercise gear) as we will be kicking off Saturday with a dance class filled with all sorts of fun songs.
5. Bring your swimmers and a flotation device if you plan on bumping your way over the rapids and down the river.
6. Bring your own seating.
7. BRING CASH as there will be no eftpos available. Items for sale will be:
a. Lions Club BBQ trailer
b. Shorties Café coffee van
c. Raffle tickets
d. Auction
